Hard work has long been a way of life in Cass County. There’s a highly trained workforce of more than 108,000 in our seven-county region, many with extensive experience in logistics, manufacturing, agriculture, and food processing. Just as important, our workers, employers, and the surrounding community have enjoyed a cooperative, collaborative spirit.

Local public school systems do an excellent job of providing well-educated graduates for the workforce, including one of the nation’s leading high school career centers, which is located at Logansport High School. We also have a wealth of postsecondary education resources, including Ivy Tech Community College’s 86,000 square-foot state-of-the-art Logansport campus. In addition, Trine University in Logansport offers four-year degree programs in subjects such as engineering, technology, applied management, computer science, and healthcare studies. Indiana University offers classes in Logansport and nearby Kokomo, and Purdue University is just minutes away.
